Golf club paint

Looking to customise my old wedges with a bit of paint to make them look a bit different, has anybody on here done this before and if so, which paints are good to customise clubs?

Done it to my old irons and a putter.
I used nail varnish as living with 3 females there’s always a decent supply!

do you get criticised when it gets chipped?

I used to do a paint refill of the grooves and used the enamel paint used by modellers (my son used to have lots of colours).
