Hi guys i can see the thread below re forum members map........I noticed this advert on one of the top banners on the main golf monthly web page www.golfbuddycalendar.com ...it looks interesting you can add you name to a date in any county or contact other users....

Shame it doesn't include Ireland. Handicap feature looks ideal for a society to make use of.

There are plenty of sites like this now, golfshake, myonlinegolfclub, mulliganplus, they all provide handicap tracking but try www.thesocialgolfer.com that covers Ireland and you can run your whole society from it!

I am on The Social Golfer, but I never use or visit it anymore. Very low activity from the forum.

What a great way to welcome people to the forum! Unless I am mistaken, the thread was not talking about forums, it was talking about society websites, of which I think you'll find I have mentioned a number, rather than just one. I am a member of both the social golfer and golfshake and do not receive such abrupt comments on either, in fact everyone I have met on those both sites are nothing but pleasant and civil.... they may not have such active forums but at least they encourage people to get out and play, rather than sitting behind your keyboard, talking about it!
