Golf ball snobbery or not

Just looked at the spec for B330 RXS. It says for swing speeds below 105. I’m not getting much bite off ‘em though.

My favourite ball in summer when the greens are running faster. If you mean they do not spin I would look at your technique. I switched to them after trying them on a ball fitting day and the pro gave a few for trial on the practice green so I could see what they were like for greenside spin.

Since returning to playing back end of last October I really struggled to find a ball I consistently like.

I can't stand any Titleist ball, have never really liked them even though I tried many variations of them. Tried Srixon Z stars, wasn't overly struck on those, don't like Callaway balls, bought some Vice and they're OK but I'm not sold on them, Volvik S4 again just OK.

I may give the Snell balls a try as seen some good reviews. But of all the balls I've tried over the last few months it's the Bridgestone B330RXS has felt the best ball off the face, decent distance in the conditions and going to see how it behaves for spin in the warmer months and try sticking to one ball.

Last few xmas' I've been gifted a few boxes of Callaway balls each time so until they run out they seem just fine! My shag bag has maybe 100 balls of all types and conditions for practicing and they seem fine too if I've had a good session..As long as your not using driving range rocks it's like everything else,do you prefer it and if so happy days..

We have to use range balls on our practice ground these days (H&S after a couple of incidents) but I have a ball bag full of premium balls I use on the putting green where we are still allowed to chip and pitch. Seems logical to use something receptive and decent off the club face and putter than some random rocks so get where you are coming from

I'm still looking for a ball with good hearing, I yell at mine but they don't listen !

There’s plenty of golf ball snobs out there myself included sometimes 😂 I play Srixon ad333 through winter and then a prov1 through he summer I been plying prov1s for years since I was a junior so I suppose it’s a confidence thing I am going to experiment with the tp5s this summer though as I have about 3 doz of them so why not .
I done a experiment last year with a Srixon distance vs my usual pro v1 and there was a fair difference I was noticeably longer off the tee with the v1 and around the green there was no comparison I found the distance to roll out a fair bit and wasn’t getting the bite I’d normally get with my v1 also putting it was like a rock compared to the v1 .
A few of my mates play distance rocks all year and love them one of which shot level par gross last summer twice using a distance rock so it goes to show it’s not all about the ball .
