Im faced this weekend with not playing golf for the first time in a couple of years. Back then I Had a back spasm and couldnt play for a month but since then i don't think Ive missed a weekends golf.

At the moment a have the flu and have not even been able to take the dogs for a walk and got a friend to do it this week.

I''d love to play but, not happening, which must mean its bad.

Anyone else play regardless?

Get some chicken soup down your neck - that does the trick

Have played through many illness and injuries - on one occasion the Immodium was very useful :D

Wimp......................

I've always played unless injured. Last time I had a really bad cold\flu was the week we moved into our house 5 years ago. We were having a house warming on the Saturday evening. I decided I was well enough to play golf in the morning and was in bed 30 minutes after the guests arrived. Mrs H wasn't happy.

I find if I have flu I am better off getting out for a round than sat at home feeling sorry for myself.

If anyone has 'Flu' then they wont be able to play golf!!

Isn't this pretty much the definition of flu? If you're still contemplating playing golf, you ain't got flu - it's only a cold? If it's flu, you wouldn't even contemplate moving out of bed. (And for the ladies, who think that's just "being a bloke" - keep your thoughts to yourself)
Ps: hope you're well enough to play soon Patrick
