so as I am being more focussed and better prepared this year I finally sorted my bags pockets out properly and realised how apart from balls, gloves, tee's, pitch repairer/markers & pencils I have sod all else in there. Waterproofs are added as and when the forecast depicts as I carry so lessen the weight when possible

What else do you carry and what would you class as extra essentials you couldnt be without 'just in case'

Normally it's just balls, tees, markers and spare battery for the DMD

Will put the waterproofs in if the forecast is bleak

Rule Book!

Paracetomol and Ibuprofen. Probably out of date by now! @Homer. Don't even think of mentioning THOSE pills!

Mid-round snack, Water.

Rain Glove.

I have a box (and been ridiculed before and no doubt again) with plasters, headache tablets, ibuprofen, antihistamine and even stuff for the old dodgy guts. Been used regularly for ages and always able to help FC's if they have blisters, headache, trouble with pollen etc.

I am looking at the Motocaddy M1 or M3 for their integral accessory holder especially the umbrella holder. The one I had for the GK isn't very good and I've stopped using it. I see a lot of FC's with these and it makes keeping the clubs much drier a lot easier and somewhere to store the brolly easily between shots

Tees, markers, pitch mark repairer, pencils, groove sharpener, waterproofs (all the time,)banana, drink, tin of sweets, camera, a few practice balls, spanner for driver, rangefinder + spare battery, spare pins for trolley wheels ( have a habit of shearing off) England Golf card (handicap verification), pencil sharpener, wooly hat (for windy days), screwdriver (needed for trolley wheels) & rain glove. I can still lift it, just! I don't carry!

Balls, pencils ( at least 4 ) castle tees, wooden tees, rubber tees, rule book, baseball cap, water, mars bar, pitch repairer , ball retriever ( yes, I know, shock horror ) plasters , headache pills, glove x2, paper hankies, garmin s3 and spare batteries, rain gear when needed.

All on a push trolley because I can't see the point in carrying anything you don't have to.

My "lucky" Cuban 3 pesos coin that I use as a ball marker, some japanese plastic tees that I got sent last year for free and a sharpie black marker are things I refuse to leave the house without (I'm superstitious like that).

I also have a really useful brush that has a small cylinder for water, to spray the clubface with before brushing. It seems to clear mud from grooves better than brushing alone. It was an unwanted Christmas present 12 years ago, but I started using it last month. Rather impressed with it.

Apart from the obvious; (golf balls, tees, glove(s), ball markers, pitchfork repairer) you will find in my golf bag.............

A handful of plasters
Yorkie Bar (lovely snack for the 10th...)
Lucozade sports bottle usually with frozen orange squash in, so it stays cool all round! (I had this at school, now 22 years old, and its still going well!)

And that's pretty much it, I'm a stand bag carry player, so I like to travel fairly light!

Good call. One of the disappointments of carrying is not being able to find a bit of choccy in a secret pocket (I'd forgotten about) half way around.
It might be like a year old, but it sure does taste good.
:)

Apart from the normal tees etc. Tramadol&tilex. Would be in unplayable pain by halfway round without. I'm falling to bits. Oh and a towel. That's about it.

I have a tee holder with handicap conversion table and a club face brush attached to my bag via extendible key-rings. Very handy. Also have a rule 21 golf towel but often forget it after leaving it in my pocket and taking it into the house rather than leave it in my bag. These are designed to be wet but are water proof on one side so can be carried hanging out of the back pocket.

Keep a tin with tee's, ball markers and pitch repair tools. Always have a few spares in case I forget to transfer back from my pockets after a round.

Have recently discovered the "Ranger Roll" method of folding clothing for compact storage. My waterproofs are rolled and in the bag ready for when ever, along with a cap and now a waterproof bucker hat. Gloves in the dry pocket and rain gloves in my ball pocket.

Also now have a full change of clothing in a zip up water resistant bag just in case. Take very little room thanks to the ranger roll and consists of a top, trousers, socks and boxers. Phone case for my Galaxy S4 is there for scale.
