going along nicely, then the wheels came off grrrrr

1st Monthly stableford today, was on 9 after 4 holes, thought am doing ok here, then another 2 back to back net pars, then got a net eagle with a chip in for 4 points, 17 points after 7 holes

then played the next 11 for a measly 10 points, total 27, pants!

It was windy as hell today and the highest score was only 36 from some bandit female off 30 odd h/c. The par 5's were all into the wind making them play half as long again

This game can be so cruel sometimes, just when you think you have it cracked and are improving.... kablam, get back down to earth sonny jim

Take the positives and next time don't get hung up on score just keep playing till the end. Easier said than done.

not arsed really, had a late night at the gf's, too much alcohol so not exactly tip top shape for 18 holes. Was proper knackered on the back 9 and just relieved to finish. As a relative newbie its another round under my belt and there was a few good shots here and there. Yet again my 1st tee shot was my best drive of the day, 280yds straight down the middle with the wind slightly.
