Just been out playing my track, in what can only be described as less than favourable conditions, and started off brilliant with a birdie on the 1st. A double, a bogey & a par followed and then another birdie on the 5th, again a double, 2 bogeys and a par and I went out in 42 which wasnt too bad.
Started the back 9 with an eagle on a par 4 which I drove the green (305yds par 4), followed by a couple more bogeys & par's and then, on a hole I normally do very well on, I took a goddamn 9

Hit a lovely drive but fluffed my approach into a greenside bunker, the ball landed in someone's footprint, fluffed 2 attempts at getting out and then caught the 3rd attempt flush and flew the green....absolute disaster!!
Came back in 41 though for a round of 83, which at worst should've been a 79 and the first time i'd broke 80 on a proper course as I dont count both times i've done it at Roundhay as thats only really a pitch n putt course
Absolutely gutted! First time i've had a proper train wreck for about 6 rounds.
