My mk1 has had a lithium upgrade. One service and is pretty old probably 9yrs. Has not blown over, has rolled through a hedge though.
Looks old now but still very reliable, but noisey on the drive gear but only when it’s moving and that’s not when we are playing.

I’m debating upgrading to the mk2 in new year, fancy something. Ew then move mk1 on. Does the battery from mk1 fit ok? Only because my lithium battery only a little over a year old, and doubt j will get the value of it back with the trolley 2nd hand.

I fitted my own LitePower lithium battery, by just adding a strip of wood and a tie rap, its lasted 6 years so far , fingers crossed.
