Go on then Ill have it! Im a sucker for Beano characters! PM me the bank details etc

I've still had no response to my pm which was sent within 10 minutes of your post on Friday!

Do you still want this head cover?

Yes sorry I was away for the weekend. I've made payment and sent you the address.

Just received, thanks Mike

Just as an aside and general question to those looking in, don't people send these smaller amounts as gifts, that's up to .60p I've lost now on each of 3 items around the £10 mark, I understand the "risk" if buying from unknown sources and wanting some protection, but, do we need to do that on here giving away money to Paypal? I know its not a lot but it just seems like throwing money away to them!

Should we state "send as a gift" when selling something or does that put people off buying items?

I'm not complaining against those that have just bought items off me as in essence they have conducted the sale correctly, its more a general query of how everyone prefers to do business like this so I can allow for costs or state my preferred method of payment on future sales :smirk:

Im happy to pay you direct via balance transfer if you'd prefer? I get your point though and its a good one. As a buyer I dont see what you get charged. If we pay as a gift dont the buyers then get charged?

I don't believe there are any charges to any parties when sent as a gift. When declaring its a service or product it must be 6%.

As I've said, these sales are completed now so no problem, just trying to get an idea of how people prefer to send money to regular known posters on here and more so if their smallish amounts.

the problem is security robin, now i would have no issue sending you money as a gift as i know you and can find out where you live (lol hehehe, you would kill me with one finger!) but unfortunately in the society we live in today, the buyer has to have protection. sending money as a gift via paypal to an unknown person, you as the buyer have absolutely zero rights or protection.

If i am selling on here to known forum users, i will just give my bank details and let them wire it to me. hate paypal for the reasons you mention!
