Matt, you should have come over and said hello. If you had I would have explained how the fairway slopes slightly from left to right... In all honesty, I was papping myself. Was just pleased that I didn't hit a squirter on to the practice putting green as another unfortunate chap did.

Mike, I was wondering if we could get some Proper Polo tops with the GM logo and maybe forum names on for when any of us play in any of these events.
I know keefG is sorting something out for the meet next year but couldn't we get sorted for everyone who wants one? I would have been proud to wear GM's name at Beau and Whittington yesterday.

We have a contract at work with a company that supply our work clothing and I have approached them about doing our polo's for the inter forum war, i mean game, next year.
I believe the polo's they use are slazenger and, although not the greatest in the world, are pretty good quality.
I'm still waiting for a proper price but the rough price i've been given so far is £5.50 + VAT depending on the colour of the polo and size of logo, i'm sure you'll agree thats a cracking price!!
Mike has already given me the nod to use the GM name & logo and has even offered to knock up some nice graphic work so that we have bespoke shirts
Maybe if we get this artwork sooner rather than later and give it to the comapny i'm waiting on a quote from then anyone & everyone can order whatever tops they like?

Out of interest could they not use more recognised brands (cally/adidas etc and just charge more). I'd be happier parting with any dosh (and I would bulk buy) if I though the product is going to last

I'll ask the question fella, but its more of a workwear company than anything else, it just so happens the polo's they use for our workwear are slazengers.
To be honest, I cant see them wanting to buy t-shirts in specially for some lads on a website but I will ask!

Keef what do you think to getting forum usernames on one of the sleeves? Seen this yesteday on stephs, was a great way to literally put a name to a face.

The idea I had Tony was the GM logo on the left breast and your forum username either directly underneath it.
On the sleeve would be good also but I agree, your username should be on there somewhere.

I quite like the idea of the sleeve. I have my nickname and the pub name on the back of my dart shirt and my real name on the sleeve. It looks pretty cool
