GM Forum Fantasy league-strategy this week?

As none of my players are playing this week do I move 5 out for 5 playing then have the issue that the new 5 will def not be in the accenture the week after and I'll need more than 5 to compete.

Whats everyone else doing?

For the Avantha I have brought in 4 players. The other 6 arent playing this week and for me are the strongest 6 Europeans (that i already had) for the WGC events. The 4 that have come in will go out next week leaving me 1 spare tfr in case of an injury - only have to look at the prize pools to tell you that you must have 10 playing for you at the WGC events

I've kept 5 from last week - 5 that are playing the WGC.
I've brought in 5 players who are playing this week but not next - they'll be straight back out to be replaced by another 5 who are playing WGC.

You need to work it so you have maximum players for the big events - Tin-pot events like this one are "worthless"
Just by chance if I picked the top 10 correctly this week and you picked none, I'd only gain just over a million Euros on you. I'd then only have 5 possible players next week (don't know of many who are playing both..) whereas you'd have all 10 and be liable to win much more.....
There's more than 3 times the cash on offer next week.

Just kept my best players that are entered into WCG from last week in and chose 5 players for this week, had to think about it a fair bit but i think ive got there now

I have done the same as most of you and kept 5 bankers in for next week and kept 5 mortals for this week. They will be in the dole queue come monday when I stock up on some big guns. Only thing is that most of us will have VERY similar teams for the following 2 weeks when we all select the best European Tour members for the WGC events.

I've made 4 changes giving me 5 playing this week and 5 'in the bag' for next week. Should be a simple case of bringing in 5 more big guns for the WGC, giving me 10 money making machines!

I can see this week and next week catching a fair few people out!

There isn't a players list yet for the Accenture so I'm hoping I've kept the right ones.

I looked on accenture web site although not finalised there is a provisional list, worked on the theory everyone qualifying will be there barring injury illness so I took out those close to the rankings 50-64 in case of change.

Top 64 as of Monday in the World Rankings + Ernie as Big Phil isn't playing.
Maybe Coetzee gets in if Casey doesn't play, then it keeps dropping down the rankings as players pull out.

Had a bit of a mare this weekend, it's certainly trickier when you've only got 5 guys playing and one misses the cut.
Slipped a few places but Roll on next weekend.

Yes got to look at the big events

the difference this year is that with only 10 picks compared to last years 15. there is less room for choice

I expect that 95% of us will have the same names this week

Bit of a struggle for me - only 5 players this week but at least they all made the cut. Pity only one of them threatened the leaderboard. Climbed to 27th.....

Yep, tactics defo kick in now, got a Private League going with guys from my club too, hoping they dont pick up too much on that side of it......
