GM & Footjoy & Tadmarten - Pure Class - thanks lads

Now the Hidden Gem pictures from Tadmarten Heath are on the website I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Jezz and Mike from Golf Monthly and to David and Russell from Footjoy for a great day out golfing.

The prize was fantastic - top to tail Footjoy (shoes, trousers, shirts, jumper, tour jacket, bag - the works) for James and I - he even got a day off school.

Everyone was great company - we got to meet Tiger and his mate Ian too - and Tadmarten was in great nick - no wonder it's a hidden gem.

... and as you would expect from excellent hosts, the GM/Footjoy boys let us sneak a close win... pure class.:clap::clap:

Had to do it - thought it might be one of those times where he looks back and says ... I remember when I played with my Dad at...

Mike, Jezz and the lads were great about it cos not everyone wants to play a 13 year old. But, fringe benefits were that he's a competitive little belter off 10 hcap and thought he might help the result

As mentioned before it was a fantastic day with Footjoy :thup: offering us far more than the original prize stated. Then just when we thought it couldn't get any better they gave us new gloves, hats, Pro V1s and Titleist bags on the day.

Welcome by Tadmarton was fantastic and the course was in wonderful condition, especially considering the rain we'd had. The wind made it a really tough test of golf and if it hadn't been for Ian we'd have been in real trouble on the front nine.

Great to meet you Jason and James and glad you've started posting rather than prowling . Reading the review in this months magazine brought back lots of happy memories, though I'm sure Jezz wasn't expecting to be interviewed on the way round...

Glad you had a good day. Having experienced a Footjoy day last year I know how good they are. Russ and Dave are top blokes and damn good golfers to boot. Watching the two of them take the Montgomery course a Carton House apart was a real pleasure.
