As I predicted Tappers won. I spoke with MikeH on Friday though and he assured me that without him and others in the field it was like fielding a Carling Cup side. Good to see Tappers back in form though and Jezz still playing respectable golf although I'm unsure if he's still using the Bertie Bassett (allsorts) set or his own sticks.

Bit of a mix'n'match set this time although I think I confused myself fatally by practising with one putter then at the last minute deciding on another. I then proceeded to miss about 7 short putts, four of which were only three-footers.
Two trebles on the front nine didn't help my cause either, so if you put all that in the mix, overall I played pretty well from tee-to-green for 16 holes (how many times have we all said that?)
