Genius or madness??? New club bought...

Your actual mistake was thinking about your cut before playing the holes!

I'm very guilty of that - if I walk off 13 on a good score I always think it's easy from here, par or better for the last five holes. Then always make a Horlicks of at least one of them....

You're absolutely right. I didn't count but knew whereabouts I was, checked on 16 and then I crashed. But being sensible doesn't get me new clubs does it Karen......

reading your post it seems to me that it's not new clubs you need it's new bottles you need as your old ones crashed on the last few holes, fairly easy finish at Duddington if I remember correctly. like Patrick says learn to hit the club's you have

Wrong decisions made. Idea is that adding this club adds to my options.

Is there a big market in new one irons? How many of the main manufacturers still make them

I don't think there is. Titleist go to a 2 iron but could bend it to near enough a 1. A few others do 2s but mizuno still do a 1 iron and, being a mizuno fan boy it works for me. Just need it to arrive quickly, playing down the coast Sunday.
