Posted this link in the proffesional golf thread but have moved it - as it's more about the developing landscape between the PIF and the tours rather than the golf itself, although Hatton's win in the Dunhill Links is a key part of the article.
Cast our minds back a year or so ago, and you'll remember the BBC were often criticised for failing to mention LIV golf, or any of the players. We've now reached a point where they are producing articles suggesting the DPWT might want to break up the strategic alliance deal for the betterment of the tour.
Worth a read and it raises some valid points about the PGAT waiting to see if any players want to return from LIV when their initial contracts expire, or will they stay with LIV, who may be willing to write some more cheques to strengthen the league.
