Reason im asking is there is a new pro at the range beside the club , offering free GA & i have no idea what it is ,

Looks like it is a type of biomechanics, physical condition to improve posture and movement and reduce injury. Never heard of it but google is my friend.

A few decent sports stores up north here are offering it when buying running shoes etc. Seems to be the next big thing.

Not sure what Gait Analysis would have to do with golf though - apart from making sure that your shoes don't rub when your walking the course.

They have been around for years in terms of running bio-mechanics. Had a few due to numerous injuries and it's a bit of a minefield as more runners I knew got injured as result of the orthotics they were custom-made/prescribed rather than just running with a bit of over pronation. I had orthotics built which resolved some of my injury issues but then gave me neuromas on both feet which still give me jip but now it's just when walking!
