Garmin Venu 2 for golf

Anyone seen or used any of the non-golf specific Garmin smartwatches?

Seriously considering getting a Venu 2, which looks like a cracking fitness smartwatch. I'm just wondering if anyone has witnessed its functionality as a golf watch, as none of the reviews really mention it. All it seems to lack, on paper, is detailed graphics of holes, playslike distances and preloaded data for every course on the planet. I'm not bothered about playslike and I'm happy to manually download the half-dozen courses I actually play.
Smartwatch and fitness-wise, it looks almost perfect.

I'm using the Garmin vivoactive 3, front, middle and back and laser is all I need for golf.

Used a couple of iterations of the Vivoactive as a gps watch and both have been fine, expect the Venu would be the same

Another one for the vivoactive 4 as a golf watch. Does front, middle, back, hazards and scoring. Along with shot tracker if you're on the ball with it (sometimes doesn't register, particularly if I haven't bothered with a practice swing), although you can enter this on the go.

I've always been under the impression that the venu is a vivoactive with an amoled screen isnt it?
