Off for a gapping session tomorrow on the GC2 thingy at Pannal Golf club, looking forward to being humbled by my true carry distances vs what I think I carry the ball! As a marker, I always assume an 8 iron (hit well) is 145 for me so it will be interesting to see how that perception compares with the uncomfortable truth. I also have a gap at the top of the bag between 3 wood and hybrid which needs filling, so it will be interesting to see how big that gap is and what the recommendations are for bridging it.
Once distances are known throughout the bag, I shall of course brush it under the carpet and as is the way on the GM forum, will continue to spout about my 300+ yard drives and 150yd wedge shots. I thank you.

I’ve also tacked on an informal driver fitting at the end of the session to see if what I’m using (ebay purchase, custom fit via 4 cans of Red Stripe and an accommodating bank manager) is suitable for my inglorious swing. If it turns out that there are better options available, a la M2, Epic, 917, Ping G etc., then Mr. Bank Manager might have to become even more accommodating. Could be an expensive afternoon!

Don’t tell the wife.

Brave doing this in winter when you lose distance. Or is that part of your cunning plan in explaining why your distances are not Forum standard :D?

Do you play at Pannal? I've been there a couple of times, was badly beaten up the first time round but survived better the second. I'd like to play it well one time but I might be kidding myself there. Always been made extra welcome as well. A proper club.

Had a good session on the GC2 and distances were about where I expected, carrying an 8 iron 140 so 5 yards off what I thought. Biggest concern was only an 8 yard difference between 3 wood and driver!

Not a lot more to tell! I was left to my own devices after being shown how to use the thing and then bashed away contentedly. 3 wood avg carry was 205 vs 213 on driver, which was wayward to say the least.

Good fun and worth doing if you're unsure of your gapping.

Been on flightscope quite a bit. can pay £5 an hour for it at our driving range.

Your carry for the driver seems a little low compared to those irons. Do you know your swing speed and angle of attack for that?

No idea on AoA but speed with driver is 91/92
If you didn't have stickers on your driver the club head speed would be just an estimate based on 1.36 smash/efficiency factor from the measured ball speed. Generally 1.36 is too low as on good hits one should be getting 1.45 at least.
