Murph's on the money, it doesnt matter how dry you keep, its keeping your hands & grips dry that matters.

Even with Waterproofs on, and brolly in a holder on my trolley, and towel hung under etc etc etc, I find it an absolute bitch to keep my hands/grips dry, and once things are wet, its curtains.
The last time I played in bad conditions, by the time I'd stepped out from under the brolly, gone thru a somewhat shortened pre-shot look at the shot, taken my stance, ......my hands were soaked.

I'm therefore in the 'Walk in to the bar' brigade on this one.

I can't be bothered with a brolly for the most part - too much faffing about. Get a good wide brim hat. As to grips, I've got the Lambkin crossline corded. They grip fine in the wet. And I don't mind if the round counts for zip. I play to beat myself as well as the rest of the field. My three best rounds this year have been in sh*te conditions - although I dare say that's more coincidence than anything.

Gotta agree that it's the grip with your hands on the club that makes playing in the rain so hard. Can't be bothered with an umbrella for most of the time, so keeping hands and grips dry is just a pain. I've recently tried one of our products (in the interests of consumer testing!), and I found it worked very well considering the thorough testing it got! Needless to say, it's staying in the bag now.

I tend to put my umbrella on the holder of my GK with a towel underneath and wipe the grips and my hands before playing a shot. Works pretty well and using the trolley means I can carry lots of towels and gloves. I've started using the FJ and Mizuno rain gloves and have to say I really like the grip they give.
