funny game sometimes

Played yesterdays comp, and started 6565 with a lost ball off the first tee, managed to restrict the damage, and one in the water on 4 but then hit a great shot to inside 3 feet to save a point with a 5.
So I'm 5 over through 4 thinking dear god what's happening, its wet, winds blowing strong, the clubhouse seems like a great option, but soldiered on and made the turn with 16 points, gross 42 shots with 6 one pointers. Came home with a solid 39 for 20 on the back for a gross 81, and was pretty happy all in all, up and down for par 5 times on the back which made me feel good too.
Got a .6 cut so now at 8.5, and got third in div 1. So all in all, not bad in tough conditions, hope you all enjoyed your weekends golfing

It really does make you feel good when you can play well when it's blowing with rain. Congrats.
I shot exactly the same as you but in reverse today. Turned at +3 (With a double bogey on Si1 after a thinned wedge over the green) and just couldn't buy a putt on the back nine.
