Yeah, at £160 for the J36 that's exactly what I tried to do. Sometimes it doesn't work though mate.

I will add my tuppence worth as it was I who sold these to Val.
One of the reasons I sold them was that I found them to be too forgiving.
Now you may think that's a bit mental, but I didn't like hitting greens 170 odd yards away with a poor strike.

Maybe it does. Luckily its not your reasoning. If you make things easy for yourself how do you get better? I believe in challenge to improve methods. If you dont, great stuff but I wouldnt call you ridiculous for your belief.
