Carrying on the clear out, I have the above irons for sale.

I already own a set of CB3 irons and bought these from eBay to try the C-Taper shaft in them. The C-Taper regular is somewhere in between the DG R300 and S300 in terms of flex.

The 7 iron plays to around 36.75" going up and down from there in 0.5" increments.

The clubs are used but in good condition and come with with Golf Pride NDMC grips.

Looking for £155 inc delivery please.

A free bump as they are such a cool looking package. Black head, mute shaft and black and white heads. Love um...

It's a tricky one this...

I play stiff in everything - c.100mph driver swing speed and hit my 6 iron c.170 yards.

Using the ShaftFit system on the KBS site, using the above stats I am recommended R flex in the C-Taper with a moderate tempo or R+ flex with a quick tempo. So whilst the shafts say Reg on them, they play firmer and handle a faster swing speed that would typically be stiff in other shaft brands.

The KBS flex system isn't obvious - stiff doesn't equal stiff doesn't equal stiff. For example, the ShaftFit system recommends the C-Taper in R flex, but if I want a slightly higher ball flight it recommends the Tour-V in x flex.

Anyway, in my opinion, they play as a 'firm'... i.e. stiffer than R300 but less stiff than S300.

Hope that helps. :)

How do they feel in your opinion in comparison to the KBS tour?

Pop your details into the online ShaftFit system out of interest. Not disagreeing with your pro, but I'd at least like to know what Kim Braly thought. :-D

Feel is really smooth and dispersion is excellent. I've read a few threads over the years saying the C-Taper is harsh which, based on experimenting with these clubs, I fundamentally disagree with.

I would guess that many have selected their usual flex when speccing C-Tapers... and given they run stiffer than their designation, I expect many are playing C-Tapers that are too stiff for them, hence thinking they are harsh.

My second paragraph is pure speculation. :)

I just swapped my blades for a set of adams, older model than these but seriously impressed. Their irons are absolutely superb, my mate bought a set last week too .

I'd have snapped these up 2 weeks ago!
