I imagine the good folks from Jaguar/LandRover's Halewood plant will be job hunting - good old Brexit (y)
I saw that as well, they were a bit delayed with the launches of Evoque and discovery sport. But the two main sellers of the JLR portfolio could not buck the trend. I wonder if they are learning that quality is king!
This isn’t Brexit, that fun and games will start to hit the supply lines later. Especially when most of the components come from 2 German manufacturers.

I will be celebrating in a small way - raising a beer to democracy finally being done. And yes I will smile at the thought of all those pious self-righteous bleating remainers who could not accept the result of a democratic vote. In the same way as I was happy for a Conservative majority in the General Election.

I’m concerned about the immediate days after. In the run up to the last, dead in a ditch, deadline the local police were stopping cars and asking the drivers for the docs. If the driver had a U.K. driving licence they were advising that they’d need a Spanish one after Brexit - no problem with that. But the odd police person would issue a fine which you had to pay then you’d have to go to the police station to argue to get it back.

I’m expecting a few stops, though no fines it’s just the inconvenience of it.

Jeez, some folk just cant stop themselves. It's attitudes like this that have fuelled the fires of division over the intervening years.

Yes, I voted remain. No, I wasn't happy with the result. Still not, if truth be told. But I accepted the outcome, and have wanted, and waited for, the whole chuffing thing to be sorted for more than three years. Why does that make any of the adjectives fit??

Pathetic.

I don’t think the PS highlighted words are aimed at you, But there’s plenty on here and elsewhere that they are rightly aimed at. The “attitudes like this” were the bedrock of the remain argument. Quite rightly in a round about way PS is telling those that cannot accept the vast majoritys decision that if you don’t like democracy. Shove it.

SILH, you know when Rufford pit shut, I sat at the top of me garden with me head in me hands having just took on a 35K mortgage.I was crapping bricks. You know what I got through it. 14 years later same when Harworth Shut. WTF IS Tashy to gonna do. 2015, same again. I ended up taking early retirement. Am sorry but using Brexit as an excuse that life is now shoite is gonna get sympathy off anyone.
For the record every time someone pulled the rug from under my feet and I landed on my arse, I never thought why me, coz millions before and millions after have have the same rug pulled from under them. Guess what it’s Shoite. you know what Brexit is not the end of the world. One door shuts and another dozen open. Your son needs to be a rebel and tour, don’t just open the door. But kick it off it’s bloody hinges. You know what, he might just enjoy it.
He would love to continue touring - but it's just not worth it...especially now that working (as touring is) in the EU27 countries is going to be a it more problematical - as will selling of merch. Besides - he is just going to do some bits and pieces of recording and make them available on-line - and develop other lines of income in the UK - as he has been doing for a couple of years now knowing that Brexit was most likely coming. He'll be fine - he's pretty entrepreneurial. However my BiL does find himself rather in the shere-hite - but he needs to look at what he can move into different - even at 62...
