free range finder app for i phone

No range finder app's for phones. But some good GPS app's "Golfshot and Skydroid" to name just 2. Most likely more but these are the 2, I have used.

I use myCaddie Pro

The quality of the information depends on how much time someone has taken to update it though. For some courses it is just distance to centre of green while others, and luckily my home course, have got front/centre/rear/hazards etc. all mapped out.

Golfshot is very good for about £20 and no additional costs for courses, doesnt drain the battery either as the phone goes into standby mode when not in use.

I use this app nearly everytime im out, its great and would recommand it to anyone! works fine without 3g, i know this as there is no 3g on my course!! £20 well spent!!!!

Cheers.

One of the lads had it at the weekend and was really good, but he has a full 3G signal round the course.

Was unsure if it lagged a fair bit without a decent signal as I don't get 3G on the course.

I have SkyDroid as I have an android phone.
I'm not sure whether or no it is available for an iPhone.
If it is..............buy it!
It's fantastic & only costs $1.99, which converted to £1.28 when I downloaded it.
You can also re-map your home course & map any courses that have not yet been done.

Slime.
