Come on, pictures up Oddsocks.

Brendy, have you read his post?

He has stated that he doesn't know how to add pictures. If you know how it's done, why don't you help him and me for that matter, and show us how it's done

Thanks

I did read it, but the matter is that if you want to sell on here, you need to be able to show the product as the majority of times it will be a postal sale rather than collection and to save wasting everyones time, decent photos are needed.

They need to be hosted online somewhere.

Then you either type the address of the online pic to make a link to it, or better still enclose the address in <image> tags (replace the arrows with square brackets) to insert the picture in the forum post.

This would be the code to put one of the site adverts in the post.

Code:<pre>[image]http://aka-cdn-ns.adtech.de/images/120/Ad5343864St1Sz168Sq4518449V0Id2.gif[/image]</pre>

which looks like this...

Edit : Beat me to it Brendy :)

To be honest, I havent seen this forum software used in many other places. We can only make do with what GM run on the server fella. I do agree though, uploading pics would be handier.

Brendy, how come you are the olny mod who is so anal and makes such a big deal about jumping straight in demanding pictures as soon as someone tries to sell anything on the forum?

Surely if someone is interested in buying the itmes and they want to see a picture first then they will be able to ask for them all by themselves. If they dont ask for a pic, then obviously they are happy to buy without seeing a pic first

Also given the fact that your a mod on here, dont you think that you should stop being so arsey and actually try and help people a little more? Im pretty sure many other people will agree with me on this
