Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa

Has anyone played or stayed here, thinking of going for my 50th birthday for a mini break next year.

I've had a few beers in the bar and was shown around the resort by a member. I know the Everton team amongst others stay here before some games so must be pretty good.

The facilities look excellent and the member I know rates the course very highly.

Were booked on for a round on boxing day so I'll let you know how it goes (if it's not raining or snowing).

Played here a few times and I love it my friends are members here.

Water everywhere on the course greens quality (fast) there is trouble everywhere so stay on the fairway.

Par 3 course and practice facilities excellent. Good range putting green is huge and practice bunker and chipping area. Great pro shop aswell very big.

Bar resteraunt and hotel are excellent.

I would most deffainetly reccomend going.

Why not. If I were you I'd take in the "real" Formby golf club course as well. Do both, and be a happy man.

I have to agree, try and play both. I love Formby one of my favourites. Formby Hall is also very good. Although in that area you are spoilt with the quality of courses. Outside Scotland it must be the best stretch of courses.
