Forged heads and shaft (2 part question)

i clean my mizzys after every round with soapy water and towel dry. never had to oil them yet. everyone comments on my new shiny irons (theyre 3 years old):thup:

I oil my Mizzys with Ballistol. Keeps them well protected.

I badly mistreat my 11 year old forged irons - that I've had for about 7 years. Still look lovely when cleaned! I use bike chain oil in the headcover of my mild steel putter though - covered in rust when i left it damp once, though it only took a 10min soak in Coke (well Pepsi) to take that off!
