hi all, new to the forum so go easy, im 10 mins from the forest of arden if anyone is ever interested in playing,im stocked up on 2 fore 1 vouchers

i used to be a member at purley chase and played at oakridge quite a bit, will have to sort a game out once the weather gets better

if your playing on the arden course your in for a treat one of the best courses around long par 4s and even longer par 5s, and the 18th is one of the best finishing holes you will find, also the aylesford course is a good course not as long but just as good. you will enjoy it

I have been invited to play there in June. Is it a good course to play?

I like it. Plenty of scope to hit good long shots but a deft touch needed around the greens. The last hole is a corker!!

yep your right, summers day standing on the 18th tee, loads of people sat on the patio behind the green watching you, great feeling if you lucky enough to land one on the green, which is very rare

I dunno, first time I played it I nearly birdied it!! :D :D

you did well then, it looks easy when you look back from the green, bit tricky when its windy always a left to right wind when ive played there, ive had to take cover on the putting green from a few wayward shots several times

I missed on on my Society's trip to the forest of arden a couple of years ago, so would love to play it at some point. It's only an hour or so up the road from me too.

Gaz thats only on the Aylesford course I think, would want to play the Arden myself

Just realised I have a voucher for a free round at any marriott course too :)
