Footjoy icon's

I've a pair of adidas adipure golf shoes which I've had a few years but always found them quite heavy and didn't like them because of that

Icons are lovely shoes .
Very traditional and look the part.
Had a few pair over the years but had to go to softer shoes because of Plantar Fascitis.
They seem heavy but are not really when you wear them.
But they do take a bit of wearing them in.

I would recommend black as they can become a bit tatty in white but polish a black pair they last for years.
You have to look after them and dry them out etc.
Sizing is good and very standard I would say.

I have a pair of the tan leather ones.

they look the buisness IMO and the fit was pretty bang on as a wide footed 10

however bearing in mind that the RRP on them is something mental like £350 and a year in they look a little tatty tbh.

for that price range I’d seriously consider getting a good pair of Ecco tour hybrids.

Similar look but having fun ends both the ecco’s win hands down on durability, comfort and waterproofing.

my last pair lasted 5 years as my sole pair of shoes

However if you have an icon it h to scratch

Clarke’s golf near me has them mega cheap.

My black Icons are probably 10 years or so old now, still look great when they are polished, not as watertight as they once were but a great shoe, expensive but a low CPW so good value.

I would add I look after shoes so they generally last well.

Just remember that FJ Icons and FJ Icon blacks are different shoes and I'm not referring to the colour.

Make sure you get the right size, they'll be different from your adipures.
