Who do you think has got the best/worst pre-season transfer deals.

Wanyama to Southampton looks like a good deal to me. They have a habit of buying well.
James McFadzean re-signing for Motherwell also good deal, Celtic may live to regret that.
Ross County signing four Dutch players, interesting to see how they perform.

Celtic did well to get that candy for wanyama, he will get found out in epl, I don't think he's good enough

If the rumors are true, 93M being offered by Real Madrid for Gareth Bale.

If that's true, they have been well, and truly, fleeced.

Couldn't agree more. Spurs could get 5 quality players for that cash, I'd let him go if that offers on the table

If some sources on the Bale situation (Marca) are to be believed there was talk of £51M plus Contrao and Di Maria.
The Di Maria part would be very good business on its own as I would rate jim just as highly. Spuds fans need to be reminded that Bale is only a one season wondrr at the minute. Di Maria is an experience and tricky winger. Contrao I can take or leave.

The figures been quoted for Bale are crazy. Not worth it IMO.
Fabregas would be a good signing for utd but that ain't going to happen,so looks like they've turned their attention to Gail Platt from Real Madrid.
Chelsea & City look strong after new signings.

Saints have got deal of the century for Big Victor closely followed by a shrewd bit of business by Houghton for the goal machine.....

But the best bit of business is yet to come and will come from a club fleecing the Toon for a player....it'll happen, soon, you watch...

AAARRRGGGHHH! It's wonderful being amongst the most frustrated football fans come transfer deadline day!

Strange how the promise of £70M worth of signings came around the same time as the season tickets went on sale

Arsenal make me laugh they are a complete joke when it comes to transfers... Wenger is just plain tight and is as fast as a striking slug when it comes to making a move for someone....then they will be wondering why they dont win any thing.....again. Fans must be going nuts with this plonker still in charge...

Mourinho will make some big moves shortly watch this space he is quality purchaser.

Bale will go To Madrid but wont get a game for a while as he will need to aclimitise and fit in which he wont do, get frustrated and then come back to play for Utd or Chelsea. ;)

Modridge is a good buy in my opinion.... I can see Utd picking him up as well or Chelsea. Good player and knows the league well. Fabregas wont come back to the League and def not Utd IMO. I cant see him in the team and although he cant get a start for Barca he's a local and loves the lifestyle. Sell Rooney quick he's becoming poison. Anywhere in Spain would do. Valencia are buying big or even Bayern .....

Di Maria has stated he does not want to come to our mighty club, when Bale goes a can see why !

Beezerk can we assume your a mackem? if so what you think of Paulos signing so far

No mate I'm an Owls fan but I've lived in the NE for 14 years. I love taking the michael out of my mates who's club has been turned into nothing more than a laughing stock ;)
As for Paulo, shame we never backed him in the ref push carry on, probably the best player I've seen in a Wednesday shirt apart from Waddle.
