At a loss here to understand the bonus point system

Gross is set to take 3 points
Bowen 2
Antonio 1

Not saying gross had a bad game but 3? He scored 1 goal in a 3-1 loss .. a nothing goal in the end

Where as bowen (got 1 less point overall than him) got the winning goal and an assist

So how on earth would the losing player score more?

There must be something I'm missing

I think they just do it in order of best players don't they? Player of the match gets 3, the next best 2, the third best 1. By what metric though, I don't know.

My team was a write off today, don't think anyone has got more than 3 points.

There is something else to it

For example he got 38 points overall , Bowen 37, Antonio 36

Watching the game I doubt apart from his goal anyone knew he was playing where as Antonio was a pain in there butt and Bowen scored and assisted

I mean areola got 35 points for all those saves .. he had more of an "impact"

I'd say he wasn't Brighton's best player that mitoma was

I hit the WC button after Sunday's fixtures, I had too many changes that I wanted to make not to pull the trigger. First one out the door was Sterling, what a waste of space that guy is....

I'm starting to think Helen Paling is an anagram of another user who wants to remain anonymous..

I already used my wildcard weeks ago. I usually use it just after deadline day when (a) the squads are final and (b) you know roughly who's playing and who isn't from the first few games.

The only annoyance so far is that I've preserved with Darwin Nunez, but the one game he scored twice in he was on my bench. Whenever I put him in, he's on the Real Life bench. Absolutely doing my head in. Just play him, he's your only bloody striker!

Tried to take him out today but I was about 0.2 short of affording Watkins. Gutting. I'll wait til next week.

I won the cup after a strong finish! A very disappointing season as most of my leagues are with the Telegraph one which is a different format so I focused mainly on that. Next season I'll set it up earlier and we can try to get more people involved, I might throw in some prizes too.
