Folke Golf Club

I'm representing my club in a Dorset champs next week at Folke. It's in the middle of nowhere (which is saying something for Dorset). Not much info out there about it - anybody played it and got any tips?

Never played there. Very short though and I think it only has 9 holes.

Used to play there when it first opened.Think some of the holes have been lengthened now.
Starts with a short par 3 and the 9th/18th is a cracking par 5.May not be everyone's cup of tea
but the owners are cracking people who have put a lot of effort into making the course the best they can.

I have never played their. Short par 3 from comments made previously.

Must be good enough though for Dorset to choose as their Cat 3 and 4 venue.

Yes, it is a 9 hole venue, with two sets of tees. Card says it's 6100 yards, and somebody who played there last year says it is quite narrow, so shouldn't be a pushover.

I was chatting to somebody who knows the family owners quite well. When some more land became available instead of converting it to an 18 hole course they lengthened a lot of the holes.
