First win in a club comp !!!!

Never won a club comp before and have been playing sh1te recently but 42 points saw me top of the pile yesterday....... I also think i won a Turkey !! It could have been a couple of points better had i not lost my ball in a load of leaves just short and right of the 18th green , i was there in 2 and its a par 5.

We were on a full course as well so i'm hoping for a cut down to 13.7

I just had one of those days where i hit the ball solid Mashie. I hit 12 GIR and didnt miss that many fairways, or if i did miss, it wasnt by much. 9 solid pars and 2 x 4 point birdies (one a sweet 5 iron to a foot for a 2) helped the card no end !! It's safely the best comp round i've ever played, altough my medal score would have not been as good as i blobbed the first and probably would have ended up with an 8. Thats the beauty of stableford i guess !
