Did you find it less pressure to keep the score going as it didn't matter too much for the comp if you messed a hole up?

Hope the form continues for the next singles comp.

To be honest there was more pressure on me as I was having to carry the other 3

Seriously though, if im playing well I tend to feel less pressure than if I am hacking it round . If i am hitting the ball well I feel confident over my shots and therefore feel like im putting less pressure on myself to hit decent shots. Everything just seems to flow and I feel much more relaxed.

Well done yourself, friendly knock or not, I bet it put a on your face?

I think my brother has done a 72 off the yellows before or something like that, cant quite remember. He was probably one of the other 3 you were carrying tbh

That's the one. Managed to get my clubs in with all the luggage for our week in the 'sun'.

I tried to remember to take lots of pics to put up here but kept forgetting. I've got a few to post when I get back to a decent internet connection. They look a bit dull on my iPhone screen though, I wish it had a better camera.


Was very happy John but more to do with how I was driving than the final score, as I think it's a pretty easy course.

Every time I play an away course my driving is 100% better. Back to my own full of hope and spray it all over the shop again.

I was doing something different as an experiment though so I'll find out Saturday (Captains Day) if I've found my holy grail or not.

Funny you should say that Gary as I also made a major change to my backswing at the range the day before which seemed to work wonders. Let's hope the changes continue for both of us this weekend!
