Had my first lesson tonight after all the advice i got from a previous thread about just starting to play. Went pretty well looked at grip, stance and swing. So would just like to thank everyone for the advice earlier.

Thats the great thing about this place. Whatever your question or need, there is usually somebody that can point you in the right direction. Keep working on the basics and check them out regularly. If you have a good grip, posture and alignment and take care to make sure these are correct you will always have a firm basis to make a good swing

well done on the lesson mate, it's amazing how the pro's can spot one or two little things that totally transforms your game! I had a lesson with my driver about two weeks ago and all i had to do was bring my right hand round the club more! it's not perfect but its better. And the main thing is that I know I am pracicing the right things.

It really is good to see how you should swing,so when you go to the range or course you have a better idea of what you should be doing. Can't wait now for next one. Thanks again
