Just had a call from the club captain informing me of the best way to get my cards in for my H'Cap.

They run a "sunday club" roll up which sounds right up my street.

Bricking it a small bit, mostly because I still can't swing for toffee since trying to get rid of my in to out!

Couple of sessions of hard work down the range/gym this week methinks.

After this card (providing I can make it down this week), I'm going to have about 3 weeks or so until I get the chance to get my next one in as I'm busy with other stuff (still golf involved, but socially! :D), but that will give me time to bed my swing in a bit more.

Either way, I'm excited to play!

Why do you want to get rid of an in to out, that gives you a nice draw. :D

Oops :D

Out to in, obviously!

I've been here once before, although it was a long time ago, so hopefully that might stand me in good stead.

The worst that could happen is shooting more than 95. I've not shot more than that since I starting playing again last year. Now I've said that, I'm going to shoot 100, aren't I? :D

Just remember they will knock everything over double boogie out anyway. so you can afford a couple of 9s on the card. :o
So what if you card 100 or more, you can get a nice high handicap and clean up in comps. :D :D :D

Good point! Just call me ElBandito! :D

As someone who will also be handing in a card on Sunday,I wish you all the best mate! Hope you shoot a blinder!

For my handicap cards I was about 18-20 over for the front 9 in my my first two card. My second card I was 5 over for the back nine so the gave me a handicap of 16!!! Didnt hand in a third, my handicap was up on the board after 2.

Still dont know how they worked that one out! Good luck and try to enjoy it. Whatever they give you will be what your playing off from now on. Just keep trying to better it!

even if you have a mere it will not really matter, my 3 cards were +20, +16, +15 and i got 15. under the new h/c rules from congu, they take your best card, not the average. Just enjoy it and forget about the card.

The worst that could happen is you get a higher h/c to start with, but either way you have your base then to get into as many comps as poss! ;)

Don't worry about it and certainly don't try and chase a score if you have a bad one. The handicapper will do the work by reducing anything too high back to a double anyway. Have fun, meet some new partners and get your face known. It doesn't matter what handicap you start with its what you do from there that counts
