First ace in 46 years

It was a fairly quiet day last Friday when I had my ace but someone else holed in one at the same hole a couple of hours earlier. Can't do anything on my own!

30 years and I'm still waiting, not even been in a group where one has been scored.

Was up the club last night for the medal and someone that has only been playing golf since last September had an ace on our 5th. That was his second hole-in-one. Crazy game.

It really is just pot luck.
I've come close countless times, i've had lip outs, hit the bottom of the pin, pitchmarks a foot away!

Played with a young lad in my last junior year, think he was about 10 or 11 and he had a hole in one, hit the downslope feeding to the green, rolled all the way up and in. madness.
