i have stolen this idea for a thread from another forum i visit.
it concerns things that you regard as the things you couldnt do without.
personally i have very few if any actual objects that couldnt be replaced ,but one thing for sure that comes top of the list is my wife and children ,and a very close second would be the friends that you can really count on when times are bad .
well this week i have added a new friend to my list ,but thats between me and him.and a whole story by itself.
actual fine things that i couldnt bare to part with are ,my putter ,its old like me and on the odd occasion it behaves itself ,like me lol.
there is also my hand carved chess set from south africa that holds a place in my list .
my fishing box ,a six drawer boss box ,twenty plus years old and still like new.
so what in you life could you not do without ,that you consider a fine thing .obviously family would be top of any ones list so keep it to actual items .

We have a scrap book my daughter did about a holiday we had in Florida Disney. She was nine at the time, and over the years the memories fade, but a quick read through the scrap book and they come flooding back.

Things like this really are priceless, brilliant:thup:

Wedding ring & gold ring I was given from my Nan for my confirmation. Only take them off when I play golf.
Granny clock that used to be my grandad's and I used to help him wind up.
Only picture we have of both sets of grandparents with me and my sister.

Miss my grandparents.
