Can anyone tell me why some of my posts are removed but posts by others remain?

Is it because other posts are made by part of the 'clique' on here??

There certainly seems to be some favouritism going on!

its just opinion there have been many things edited removed, and other left the mods can only act as they see fit at the time whether we agree or not they are there to enforce the rules in there interpretation just like a referee in sport they call it as they see it and sometimes we all agree others its a split decision but i dont believe there is any favouritism show.

I dont get or understand this Clique thing that people mention ..some forumers know each other better than others & sometimes have banter among themselves that we might not get .. with English , Scots , Welsh , Irish (& some others) on here there can sometimes be misunderstandings etc because we dont get each others sarcasm ..

as for favouritism ? i wouldnt think so , i could be proved totaly wrong but just at a glance ive seen newbees & established members complain of the same subjects whether it be moderation , moderators , posts moved /removed , threads locked or what ever ..

I would say tho if you have had stuff removed or edited to ask why , im sure the mod responsible will explain the guidelines he/she did it under ..
Personaly i think its a good forum well run , ok sometimes we can all be a bit sensative to a reply or a comment & not see the true way it was meant ,

The forum belongs to all that want to use it. within the rules set down , if your not sure of something , ask for clarification & if your not happy with that then Mike H or Jezz are always an option to have a chat with .

Just my opinion tho

There is no favouritism. If a an individual post or a thread needs tidied up the mods will take the necessary action based on the guidelines we have been given.

Have a look at the sticky thread which reminds everyone of the Forum Rules. If posts or threads stick to those rules then there is no problem. The mods have an easy time and we all live happily ever after ;)

The analogy to the referee is a good one. As mods we all have to make a judgement call at the time we read a thread. Sometimes it's easier to act if a thread has been reported. Other times we have to use our judgement based on the Forum Rules. There will be times we get it wrong. One thing is for sure, there is no favouritism. A member can have 1 post or 10000 posts if they infringe the Forum Rules their post will be acted upon.

Hope that helps.
