Hello All

Mark here, been lurking for a month or so and reading the threads and signed up last week :) Great forum, good variety of content, and let's be honest, tis a bit Orange! Not to worry I remember spraying my Raleigh Grifter Orange coz I 'Had a moment' - best bike of my childhood!

Anyway, again hi all - play at Chesfield Downs just North of Stevenage in Herts. the course is 18.3 shots better than I at the moment, but hey ho, it's there for the taking. I love this stupid, rewarding, frustrating game and I hope to contribute thoughts and opinions FWIW!

So, I look forward to getting to know you all :)

Cheers and happy golfing

Raleigh grifter - 3 gears wasn't it? I moved up to one of them from a striker. Then a BMX.

70's pushbikes - now your talking. Don't make them like they used to.....

I can only get around now on a Lansing Linde 2 tonne fork lift truck nowadays.

Welcome.

Never had a striker, although I went through a chopper wanting phase but never got one - probably not a bad thing! It was the Harley of pushbikes but at the age of 10 I wasn't ready to grow a flowing beard.... Come to think of it I didn't have any leathers either!

LOL re the FL must make getting around the course a bit more challenging!

Hello and welcome,

Never got to a Grifter only s budgie and used to get left behind ended up with budgie as a nick name through shouts of come on budgie!

Always plenty going on and a bit of banter occasionally.

Baaaaaa

Hi mate and welcome, do not want to make you jealous but I had a lovely mauve "chopper", which gave me years of enjoyment until barsteward nicked it from outside the local sweet shop:angry: :D
