Due to hols and copious amount of ale over the weekend, I haven't changed my team since I picked it in July.

I'll start trying properly now........

Another good week for me & sitting proudly at the top. Clean sheets for Baines, Zabaleta & Mertesacker & another goal from Olivier Giroud. I did cock-up by leaving out Mignolet this week. Didn't think Liverpool would keep a clean sheet v United. Wasn't a disaster though David Stockdale got 4pts.

Yup, played this for the last 3 seasons, and you need at least 50 points EVERY WEEK if you want to compete.

I think the secret is to keep an eye on the fixtures & also the injuries & suspensions. Also avoid clubs that like rotating. Last year Demba Ba got me loads of points then he went to Chelski & Benitez only played him 1 game in 3.

Keep an eye on upcoming "double game weeks" for certain teams, like Chelsea on week 1. Be warned though typically they won't feature in he next game week! So you need to work 2-3 weeks ahead.

I think out of all the game weeks last season there only about 3 or 4 weeks I wasn't above the average score. Double game weeks were vital but as rooter said you have to plan in advance so you're not caught short when they are over and you have 5 players not playing. Served me well as I finished in the top 7000 of 2.5 million.

Also pick your captain carefully, sometimes I would pick a differential captain that I thought would do well instead of just slapping it on rvp! Michu was great at this last season although sometimes it did backfire!

Can't say the same yet this season but along way to go so far!

This needs a bump.

A slightly above average week, points wise, today despite Silva, Rosicky, Lampard, Crouch and Aguero all benched or injured. So I suppose 41 points having two players left to play Sun and Mon ain't too shabby. Ramsey got me 15 points and making Vidic captain for a double point clean sheet worked.

Dropped Coleman as I couldn't have seen Chelsea not scoring so cocked up there but if saints play well tomorrow could score with Shaw and have Sturridge to come on Monday as well.

How did everyone else fair, does bumping this thread remind you to make changes....? If so, mods, delete .

Going ok this week 45 points, not bad considering i had Dzeko not playing & Kozak only coming on as sub.

Got 2 points off the bench to come and Moses & Vorm left to play.
