How good is Philly Mick??
Just stumbled across this Video of him hitting lob Shots over Roger Cleveland
I think I'd be ok with Vern Troyer stood there but otherwise I'd be a tad nervous and probably thin in into the shins

Its probably a few years old but I've just enjoyed watching this flop shot challenge at the scottish open too

The pros really are on a different golfing planet.

There's one somewhere of him hitting a flop over Dave Pelz as well, and he is a big bloke!

For special, search for his flop at the Scottish open. Just wow.

Crikey that's scary but VERY impressive. I have two playing partners who play catch when we're waiting on a tee box - I hit a soft high chip and try and drop it into their hands. They are about 8-10yds away though...really focusses my mind!

That's a stunning shot. I'd either duff it forward 5 yards or thin it into the Loch! Just incredible stuff from Lefty.

Big Phil is a golfing hero of mine. he has helped my short game so much with his short game secrets but at the same time I've spent far too much time trying to emulate my hero like a big kid in practice.

Ive spent more time than ever this year practising the safer running chip/pitch. Playing catch up with this side of my game.

Oh yes. A lot of good players and pros could do it, although not necessarily with the certainty that Phil seems to have. You would be safe enough with most amateurs as long as you kept your legs apart as most would knife it through them.

I was going to say, I am pretty sure i could knee cap someone with a knifed lob wedge!

I don't doubt he could do it, but I do doubt that he did do it.

Watching it in slow mo, it somehow just doesn't look quite right...

There is a video made by the European Tour at a Scottish Open a year or two back of players doing the same shot over a cardboard cut out of Phil. Mixed results.

Like the Jiminez method.

Interesting to see in the super slo mo one of those was a double hit, I wonder if they realised real time?
