One thing all the faldo knockers forget as well, is that he actualy puts something back into the game.

the faldo foundation allows young british golfers to recieve top class coaching, early exposure to proper top flight competition, and smoothes the transition from top amatuer to new fledling proffessional, and the majority of this is done on bursarys or scholarships, so it is available to anyone based on ability not just the size of your parents wallets.

top bloke top golfer and still the best british golfer ever bar none.

faldos a top bloke imo. he gets a raw deal.

Not a huge fan of Faldo as a commentator/pundit, but he's apparently pretty popular with the Yanks and certainly well qualified for that role at The Masters.

I think he was absolutely spot on with his comment last night - the 'right now' being significant. I believe 'Mrs Doubtfire' was of the same opinion and Harmon's comment about his swing being a work in progress was also correct - shame as I thought that, after Bay Hill, he was going to be seriously competitive. Not sure which Tiger will be on the course tonight. Hopefully, the relaxed, determined, 'playing for pride' one that has been seen when he's been out of it in other Majors.

Still think he's got more Majors in him (Lytham being the most likely) but there's no fear from other players anymore.
