F1 Red Bull

...
Give me a grid full of verstappens than most of the whiny whinging drivers we get these days.

This!

F1 is still too dull these days!

I seem to remember Hamilton was liable to have too many 'incidents' in his early days - and definitely didn't seem 'team' oriented then! Very different now!

Another where father may now be a hindrance? Seen it (overbearing parent holding player back) happen (and, fortunately, be avoided) in both Tennis and Golf too!

my 2pence worth says that if you are on the grid at all you should be one of the best drivers in the world .that said it comes with ,if you are that good try using all the toys in the car .they are there for a purpose .im talking steering wheel and brake pedal .Max only seems to use the go faster pedal .it dosent make him a breath of fresh air it makes him bloody dangerous .
stick back in F2 and let him learn how to drive without cocking up for a season .it would teach him a well good lesson that any idiot can drive fast but only the best do it without putting others lives at risk ,which in my opinion he does every time he races.

You talk about fractions of a second and millimetres at Monaco, I seem to remember an interview with Nigel Mansell where he said he'd put in the perfect lap, to the point where he never made heavy contact with the walls or barriers but got close enough to rub the tyre manufactures name paint off the walls of the tyres.

If you check out this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Verstappen - and then click the references to each race, I believe 'great racer' would be an apt description! Has been involved in a several incidents, but not always deemed at fault!

5th and 6th in the last championships and currently sitting 6th.

I believe Christian Horner and the rest of the RB team are the ideal environment to get the best out of him (and Ricciardo)!

My god I know F1 is a procession most of the time but what’s the point in having a Grand Prix at a circuit where it’s near impossible to overtake - it’s ridiculous

I am guessing the team will be pointing out to him [Max] that DannyRic was the class of the field driving at 9/10ths...
So why did he feel the need to go to 11/10ths, in FP3, and have an unnecessary pile up...

A bit of redemption today with a more controlled drive...

When Max is driving well he is one of, if not the best to watch. Some of his overtakes last season were unbelivable. He's now falling behind his team mate and starting to over push and its showing in his mistakes. he's young, he will learn.
