Well me and the missus watch this every year and enjoy it. I like to see what madness some of the countries come up with. France this year were my favourite disaster entry, my god that was awful.
Every year people say its all political voting and all that but look at it this year and all the best songs are at the top. The winner didn't just win because they were transgender or whatever but because it was a pretty decent song and sung well.
People take it way too seriously on here by the sound of it. The competition is a bit of light hearted fun as there is always some pathetic songs but there is still a few decent ones.

Regarding the political voting slant, is it not possible folk vote for acts from countries with cultural and linguistic similarities.......perhaps neighbouring countries? Just a thought.

Thats a bit disappointing, there's some lasses singing and hogging the camera, i think it needed more of the young lady doing the washing.

To be honest I think if the man/woman had sang it dressed as a man/woman then he/she would not have won it, it sounded like some poor knock off of a James Bond song to me. But without the vocal talent that someone like Shirley Bassey or even Adele bring to those types of songs.
Dutch all the way if you are going on quality of the song (which to be fair is not really what Eurovision is about, plus they were near the top I think), plus the Hungarian entry wasn't bad. I also saw the Swedish entry was well fancied, but to me that just sounded like Sea lion Dion or any other of those types.

I liked the Armenia song too, that was quite good. I did think the Dutch would just pip Austria but I wouldn't say the song was miles better than the other top ones. It was always going to be pretty close for a while in the voting with a few better songs to choose from for a change.

The Dutch entry were superb and seems they have a bit of a following developing as a result of the event. They didnt win, but hopefully they will be the true winners over time.
