If we as consumers want year round top shelf golf we can't play every single event from november til march in the Algarve and Andalucia.

Speaking of the Spanish really should get their fingers out and get the national open back on the schedule

its always had a foreign start. at least the ET are willing to step outside the box. Americans and the pga are like that scene off "the running man" where if they go outside the area their collar blows their head off

There are a few US players that do come over now and then these days, but still few and far between and the idea of them going abroad en masse would scare them. Too insular as a nation, which has perforated down to most of their national sports where it's only a home grown event (NFL, NBA NHL PGA etc)

Actually, most of the events out of Europe are in the winter months, and I can't really blame them for that. There is near to no chance to get a four day event without massive weather interruptions anywhere in Europe during that time. And I count 23 events in Europe, not 17 (including those where the location is yet to be announced but says "Europe" in the description).

What's your point? The champions league also has a number of Asian sides in it. Shall we rename it ?

Ah man! They've dropped the Alfred Dunhill at Leopard Creek!!! I love that event as it's on the border with the Kruger Park and you got to see loads of animals!

Yeah I guess its either a 6 month European schedule or 12 months with some winter sun

(& its not as if several European countries didn't do a fair bit of empire building in nearly every one of these far away places trying to make them European :) )
