Did anyone bother looking at who teams were playing etc to get a beter idea of the potential points each player will be able to gain on paper? In hindsight I probably should have but I couldn't be bothered last night when I did it as I was knackered.

You can change your team as often as you like right up until the 1st games next week. I just threw a team in to get it started, but will hone it to perfection over the course of this week.

the problem is though if you are putting a vast amount behind one player, what is he does badly? losing potential points from 3 good players rather than one great one and two rubbish ones.

does anybody know why I can't view the GM mini league standings after the first few games? I don't seem to be able to find it at all anymore, where as I managed previously. I click on 'my mini leagues' and it just displays the top 20 teams in the game overall. Can anybody help?
Also I think the game should have given me a free transfer for Ryan Babel after he was declared out of the tournament through injury, I now only have 2 transfers remaining after swapping him for Torsten Frings . Babel was going to be good for a few goals as well.

haha no I didn't I thought it was 3 for the hole tournament. Thats great if you do, no wonder some people have amassed 125 points already. I probably should have read the rules/ method of the game when I signed up. At least I'm not the only one encountering the problem aswell.

haha I have given up changing my team as well, the site is ridiculously slow and temperamental. I wouldn't worry about it- your intentions were good!

In order to fix the site we have had to temporarily close the fantasy football game.
The site will be available again at 12pm (Mid-Day) Saturday 14th, June 2008
We sincerely apologise for this, and will be honouring transfers that are emailed to us. The prize from Round 2 will still apply, all email transfer requests will be processed and the points allocated accordingly.
We are working on making the site available again as soon as possible.
