Two wins in his last two tournaments (he wrapped up the Bay Hill Invitational just now). Whoever got on at 33/1 for the Masters must be quietly confident!!

That may be true Homer but id rather be playing well and my confidence sky high than to be trying to find my game in a big comp,as they say winning becomes a habit,as you say should be thereabouts.

He'll go in knowing his game is right on the money and that has to be good for his confidence - and we all know that makes a big difference!

Come on Ernie - lets have a Big Easy Slam!!

If he can get rid of the silly mistakes he made on the greens then he'll do well 'cause tee to grren he was very impresive indeed. :D

Love this bit of reporting on the bbc

"Els, who led by two with four holes left when play was halted because of storms on Sunday, limped home with four pars on Monday as Kevin Na threatened."

I wouldn't mind limping home with four pars, particularly if the pars came on holes that were as tough as those at Bay Hill!!!

Ernies New putting stroke has been working really well. he's deffo a good shout for the green jacket. But just for golfs sake I want tiger to win. I don't care about his personal life I love watching him play golf! He'd have great delight in sticking 2 fingers up to the media

Maybe it needs slimming down a tad, but there's a lot of uninspirational, steady golf going to be played by some of this lot.

And for an each way bet..........

Perry, Scott, Immelman and Romero can all come and sit on my sofa and watch it with me cos they have diddly squat chance.

I think that McDowall is a good e/w bet. Think Mike Weir may also be worth a couple of sheckles e/w as well.

I agree with you. Perry has gifted several majors now, and will not win one (except as a Senior, possibly). The others are nowhere near.

GMac has had a few good performances at Augusta and if he gets his eye in, could do well.
