Just heard over the weekend that E Mwepu has had to retire from playing football due to an Hereditary Heart disease.
Such a shame as he was a great footballer for Brighton with his power and strength.

In other ways he is very fortunate that it was found. I'm assuming it was from a general health check after what happened to Patrice Muemba.

Also a nice touch from the fans and Brentford football club for showing his picture at the game and singing his name for 12 minutes.

Great shame as he was going to be a great player , he will be missed by the seagulls as he had stamped himself in the first team as a ready made replacement for bisouma

The upside is, it was found and he can be monitored, kept healthy. Go back a few years and it could all have been so different, as we know. Tough for the guy to deal with but you have to take the positives as well.
