England Wales Rugby

Wanted to come on and moan about Steve Walsh's refereeing but no excuses Wales wanted it a hell of a lot more than we did and took their chances superbly. Two great games today so far (although I didnt enjoy the thumping) so hoping the finale in Paris tonight lives up to it.

The Welsh half of me really enjoyed that game.
Decent referee makes all the difference, he took no nonsense from the start.
Well done England in the Championship, they played some decent stuff, especially against Scotland. I hope this result does not send you back into the old ways.

Well done Wales, and well doneitaly

S glad that Wales thrashed us, cow I would have hated it had Walsh ruined another game, at least his appalling refereeing didn't affect the result in the end

Pride comes before a fall! All I have heard today is England will get the Grand Slam. Talk about counting chickens!

When I asked the question if England could do it; it wasn't a statement that they would do it, was it. Might help if you read the statement and digested it before going off half cocked.

Strange!!! All i've heard is English, Scottish, Irish and Welsh experts proclaiming that Wales would start as slight favourites but that it would be a fantastic tight game. Maybe we listen to different radio stations...

Anyhoo, well done Wales. You played fantastically and showed us exactly what we need to work on if we want to compete. Temperament and technical skills at the scrummage.

The percentage of scrums that fail now is unbelievable. Why dont they set the scrum and only contend when the ball is fed in. That's how it used to be and worked much better.

I would just pick the Welsh scrum, they were fantastic today maybe add Robshaw and Denton if fit.
Scrum and fly halfs will be difficult to pick, not really any world class guys in the four teams.

Can't argue with the result. Wales dominated and England didn't have an answer. I hope both can build and really challenge the Southern Hemisphere super powers. The Lions look like they can be a real force

The southern hemisphere teams are a good distance ahead of any 6 nations team and indeed the lions...I reckon it's the weakest Lions set up I've seen for a good while, especially lacking in depth.

Let me just try and remember the last game between a northen and Southern Hemisphere team ... Hmmm I wonder what the result was

Well, my prediction of Wales 1st and England 2nd was correct.:D

But 3rd thru 6th predictions ended up complete the reverse of the results!
